i love peas. i love smoky things. so, i put them together & in 5 minutes i had this delicious bowl full of yumminess. frozen veggies aren’t always the best alternative, but peas are an exception. i know it may not be easy to find, however this cheese makes the dip. if you can’t find it, just use use regular chevre & add a pinch of smoked salt instead. hey, bacon would even be a great replacement for that smoky flavor. although it is pictured with gluten free crackers & kettle chips, this would be great with carrots & bell peppers.
1 1/2 cup green peas, defrosted (liquid removed if there is any)
3 oz goat lady dairy smoky mountain cheese
1 large garlic clove, roughly chopped
3 tablespoons mayo (you can use 1-2 milk or olive olive if you want a healthier alternative)
salt & pepper to taste
. in food processor blend everything (except s&p) together until smooth.
